Remote working
Hire architects & interior designers online
Work with a verified practice wherever you are in India. Consultations over video, drawings and approvals handled online — and never a commission on the work you agree.
How it works
Share your brief
Describe the space, your budget and your timeline. Send it to as many practices as you like — enquiries are free.
Meet over video
Talk it through on a call you book from their calendar. Most practices offer video and phone consultations as standard.
Work online, end to end
Drawings, revisions, material choices and approvals are shared digitally, with site visits arranged only where they are genuinely needed.
Why hire remotely
Not limited to your city
The right practice for a compact Mumbai flat may be in Ahmedabad. Remote working makes the whole directory available to you.
Verified either way
Every listing is reviewed before it goes live, and credentials carry a verified tick once our team confirms them — distance changes nothing.
Booked, not chased
Consultations are booked against real availability, so a first conversation does not take a week of messages to arrange.
Before you hire
Can a designer really work on my home without visiting?
For interiors, renovations and fit-outs, most of the work — layouts, drawings, material selection, 3D views — is done from measurements and photographs. Practices that need a site visit will tell you at the enquiry stage, and many arrange one visit at the start rather than none at all.
What about drawings that need local approval?
Municipal approvals usually need a professional registered to practise in that state. Ask about it in your first message — practices are used to the question, and some partner with a local architect for the submission while leading the design themselves.
Does hiring remotely cost more or less?
Neither by default. Fees are set by each practice and shown up front on their profile. SearchArchitect never takes a commission on the work you agree, wherever either of you is.
How do I judge someone I have not met?
Look at completed projects with real photographs, verified credentials, and reviews from past clients — all on the profile. Then book a video consultation before committing to anything.
Start with a conversation
Send a brief or book a video consultation. Both are free, and neither commits you to anything.
